No other lyric database likely owns the copyright or the licence to display lyrics in all the regions they operate (possibly why only Thai users are seeing lyrics at the moment, Spotify have done a deal in that region). – Lyrics are copyrighted, and licensed (like songs or tv shows). The removal of the lyrics feature likely wasn't something Spotify wanted to do to piss users off, but likely because of a few things – Apple Music likely acquired an exclusive license to musixmatch, forcing Spotify to remove the musixmatch function from their apps. If other accounts from other countries can access this feature then let us know! Update: Seems like Japan has started rolling out this features, too. If this feature is available for you, basically just hit the Mic button on your bottom left (besides Queue button) on PC. Not all songs have lyrics though (but most of the English songs has it). Seems like all lyrics are provided by LyricFind. I tried to search for the official announcement but couldn't find anyone talking about it at all. I just checked it out and BOOM! It's there, on both PC and mobile.
